You
a poem by William C. Dwinell

When I am at peace and silent with the world,
I think of you!
Your image…sprinkles raindrops on my thirsty soul.
When I see you, I touch spring flowers.
I hear bubbling brooks cascading down a fern filled
canyon of delight and my spirit begins to smile.
I see fresh falling powder and two angels in the snow.
I see lovers, hand in hand, not caring where they go.
I see a new dawn breaking,
casting its soft and fervent glow…
and I know…you!

WE

MAN and dolphin roam the sea
To each a different wait
One is like the other
Surrendering to Fate...

We can live together
Learning from the sea
That doesn't care for difference
And allows us both to be...

Sailing over oceans
A myriad of Greens
Rising, gently falling,
From dawn till dusk is seen

Each envies the other
and dreams to trade his place
For oceans ever greener
Lie in another space...

Perhaps a time will come, at last,
When safe we both will be
From those of us as hunters
And fishers of the sea...
