Photos of Nesika Beach and
sunset images from Seashore Rambles
Nesika Beach is almost the western-most beach in the
continental United States. The Oregon Coast Trail, a continuous trail that
traverses the coast of Oregon, is routed along this 7 mile beach.
Nesika Beach is clean, the ocean is untamed. At times
the surf is wild and mad and the wind tears it apart. At other times all
is calm. Seals, sea lions, and an occasional whale can be seen.
Whether wild or calm the sunsets are never the same, and some are world class
spectacular.

You
a poem by William C. Dwinell
When I am at peace and silent with the world,
I think of you!
Your image…sprinkles raindrops on my thirsty soul.
When I see you, I touch spring flowers.
I hear bubbling brooks cascading down a fern filled
canyon of delight and my spirit begins to smile.
I see fresh falling powder and two angels in the snow.
I see lovers, hand in hand, not caring where they go.
I see a new dawn breaking, casting its soft and fervent glow…
and I know…you!
